Aligning your Teams

When individuals experience discord, the teams they make up feel out of sync. The A-lign Approach™ really comes to life when it’s taught in a group. It helps teams see themselves by seeing contrast, and understand others better through

shared language.

Teams who learn this approach work more optimally through improved communications, decision-making, work culture, and productivity.

What is Shared Language?

It's a common reference point, a place to build from where everyone is on the same page using the same keywords, definitions, and identifiers. It's a foundation for team cohesion.

Many teams adopt frameworks giving employees a sense of self, they receive a colour or acronym to call their own — where these models fall down is the integration with others. What this means when navigating the day-to-day.

Shared Language means you not only understand yourself but also those around you making you a better manager, colleague, employee, and team member.

The A-lign Approach™

A methodology and program resulting in enhanced team cohesiveness, leading to more effective organizations.

We begin at the individual level — understanding our modes of operating, preferences, and unique styles. We have to know ourselves before we can expand our reach to the ways these learnings can be applied to a team — we work inner to outer. Narrow to broad. Also known as the classic A-line.

A-lign Approach for Teams is a comprehensive program that deep dives into key frameworks for developing shared language within a team, leveraging strengths, and bridging gaps in communication.

Bringing your team back into alignment.

  • The first step is to deepen our understanding of our unconscious patterns, strengths and blindspots. Then we can begin to leverage them and be more intentional in how we function, interact, and work.

  • Unleashing the power of shared language, we start putting words to our strengths. We use our new vocabulary to build bridges where there were once gaps in communication and forge new pathways to collaboration and clarity within your team.

  • This is where the real magic happens. We take our learnings and integrate them into your unique team dynamic. Mapping a path forward for how you work, meet, collaborate, and interact.

The Manual

The Manual

Whoever said “life doesn’t come with a manual” has never taken the A-lign for teams program.

At the end of our 8-week program, teams will receive a user manual for each employee as well as integration training on how to interpret their unique dynamics, and create work plans, restructure their meetings, and navigate internal comms more effectively.

The Models

  • Interaction Styles™ is a powerful framework for professional and personal development that brings to light everyday differences that are at the root of much of the conflict we experience in interaction with others, particularly in the workplace. It refers to how we do what we do and what drives us, putting language to the ways we go about trying to get things done and how we interact along the way. This model addresses our unconscious Core Drives, Aims, and approaches; Natural strengths; Decision-making styles; Communication dynamics regarding how we influence others; As well as role dynamics, and where we naturally put our attention when trying to get things done.

    Tools:

    * Decision-making differences + impacts

    * Improved communication & influence

    * Navigating conflict & stress

    * Clarified conditions for productivity

  • Essential Motivators™ is a profound model that unlocks what we each need to show up at our best and most energised, especially at work. It refers to why we do what we do, helping us identify the inherent, natural talents we bring to the table, often without realising and regardless of role or industry. This lens pinpoints our unconscious Core needs for thriving at work (and in the world); explores the roles we take in relation to people and tasks; how we tend to convey and understand information, and the implications of this on a team.

    Tools:

    * Clarify & leverage unconscious talents

    * Navigating conflict & deeper stress

    * How to motivate yourself & your team, authentically

    * The hidden roles we take on when interacting & their implications
